Dubrovnik is a a native city on the Adriatic Sea in the province of Dalmatia. It is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea and the centre of Dubrovnik-Neretva County. Its entire population is 42,615 i.e, census 2011. In 1979, the city of Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The richness of the city was historically based on maritime, it achieved a high level of development, mainly during the 15th and 16th centuries. It became notable for its wealth and skilful diplomacy. It has a hot Mediterranean/ dry-summer subtropical climate that is mild with adequate seasonality and Summers are dry and hot due to the dominance of subtropical high pressure systems whereas winters experience moderate temperatures and variable rainy weather due to the polar front. The beginning of modern tourism is associated with the creation of the Hotel Imperial in Dubrovnik in 1897.

BCC Research reveals in its new report, Therapeutics for Women's Health: Technologies and Global Markets, the global market for women’s health therapeutics is expected to grow to $22.5 billion by 2018, with a five-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.5%.  The postmenopausal osteoporosis therapeutics segment leads the global market, claiming 53% market share. Women’s health issues have gained significant market attention recently as a result of disease pattern and treatment differences between men and women.
